  1. Siapkan semua bahan. (Maaf dagingnya kelamaan dikulkas, jadi kurang segar). Bungkus daging semalaman dengan daun pepaya, iris sesuai selera, lalu cuci bersih daging. Ulek/blender bumbu halus.
  2. Tumis bumbu halus hingga harum, masukan daun salam, lengkuas, gula merah, dan asam jawa, tumis kembali sampai bumbu matang, tambahkan air. Tunggu hingga mendidih, lalu masukan daging.
  3. Tambahka santan instan, garam, gula pasir dan kaldu bubuk. Masak sampai daging empuk dan air berkurang.
  4. Bila air sudah mulai berkurang dan daging sudah empuk, tes rasanya. Aduk terus secara perlahan, sampai tidak ada lagi airnya. Matikan api dan angkat.
  5. Dinginkan dan siap ditusuk.
  6. Panggang sate dalam wajan teflon atau happy call sampai matang dan agak gosong. Jangan lupa dibolak-balik agar gosong nya merata.
  7. Angkat dan siap disajikan.
