  1. Siapkan tuna. Jika masih frozen, biarkan tuna defrost di kulkas bawah semalaman. Buang kulit tuna jika ada dan pastikan bagian tengah tuna sudah tidak beku sebelum dimasak.
  2. Campur semua bahan glazing sauce di mangkuk. Parut bawang putih dan jahe sampai halus. Jika punya dark soy sauce, jauh lebih baik karena lebih rendah kadar sodiumnya (garam). Juga, jika tidak punya mirinm, bisa diganti dengan air biasa + 1 sdt gula.
  3. Bumbui tuna dengan garam dan lada secukupnya, lalu berikan 2-3 sdm bumbu glazing ke tuna. Pastikan semua bagian tuna terkena glazing dan marinade ~10 menit.
  4. Panaskan wajan non-stick di api sedang dan tuang minyak sayur. Lalu panggang tuna (sisi kulit diatas) selama 2-4 menit setiap sisi sesuai ketebalan. Jika filletnya tebal (spt difoto, ~3 cm), butuh secara total sekitar 10 menit.
  5. Angkat tuna dan biarkan dingin sebentar (5 menit). Setelah bisa dipegang, potong tuna tipis2 dengan pisau tajam. Tengah tuna seharusnya masih merah seperti tidak matang. It's okay kalau keluar "darah", itu hanya fish juice.
  6. Susun di piring sajian lalu tuang saus glazing dan garnish dengan daun bawang yg sudah dipotong. Sajikan selagi masih hangat.
  7. Tuna steak ini kandungan gizinya sangat berbeda dengan steak sapi. Satu porsi hanya mengandung 177 kkal dengan total lemak yang sangat rendah.
